Livingston

Being a native of Livingston, raising my family and continuing to work and reside here,  I can share with you my firsthand knowledge of all of the wonderful resources in town.  Livingston offers a wide variety of activities for toddlers through seniors. Recreational facilities include two town centers, two community pools, tennis courts, playgrounds, a dog park, little league fields, senior/community center, skate park, adult education programs, Livingston Public Library offering programs including book groups, crafts, art classes, musical groups, story telling hour, speakers on a variety of topics .....  to technology assistance and much much more ! 

One of the many wonderful things about living in Livingston, is the close proximity to public transportation to surrounding towns by bus, as well as transportation to New York City via bus or train. Livingston offers a jitney to the South Orange Train Station, which is only minutes away. The Short Hills and Millburn Train Stations are only a short drive a way as well . 

We are also lucky enough to have one of the BEST Police, Fire and First Aid Squads. If you are ever in the situation to be in the need of one of these services, be assured that you and your family are in great hands. They perform their jobs in the upmost professionalism and kindness. We are also very fortunate to be surrounded by some of the top hospitals in the state.With Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, Overlook Medical Center in Summit, Urgent Care Center at Summit Medical Group in Livingston, and Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, you cannot be in better hands. 

Livingston is proud to have one of the top rated Board of Educations in the country with six elementary schools, Mt. Pleasant Middle School for sixth grade, Heritage Middle School for grades seven and eight, and Livingston High School for grades ten through twelve.
